About
A recipe book I wanted for myself
Hi, I'm Matt. I live in Minnesota with my wife Amaya and our dog, Rafael. I'm a software developer by background and a very amateur cook by the way!
My favorite recipes were scattered across Google Docs, text messages, photos, bookmarked websites, a few cookbooks, some handwritten cards, and more recently ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. My photos had been digital for years. Why were my recipes still in eight different places?
The apps that could read a messy recipe and tidy it up mostly wanted around $10 a month. I can write code, so I built the thing I wanted instead: one good-looking recipe book for new recipes and passed-down ones, where any of them is easy to find and cook from. That was 2025. It went live in January 2026.
It is still just me building it, which means the person who reads your feedback is the person who fixes the bug.

How it's run
Your recipes stay yours
Credits pay for creating recipes, never for reading them. If you stop paying, your collection is still there, and you can export all of it to a single file whenever you like.
No ads, ever
The whole reason this exists is to get away from recipe pages buried under pop-ups. Putting ads on it would defeat the point.
You can pay once
There is a yearly plan ($10 for 100 credits) and a monthly one, but there is also Lifetime: $49 once for 300 credits, with no subscription at all.
A real person reads the feedback
Feedback sent from inside the app comes straight to me, and I reply to it.
