    What the AI actually does

It reads URLs, pulls text out of images, works through handwriting, structures the recipe, and generates food imagery. Your part is handing it the source. Accuracy is good on standard formats and shakier on very faded handwriting, which is why every section stays editable after import.

AI-powered features built for recipe lovers

    Import recipes from any source

URL, Pinterest, raw text, or a photo. Culinary Card reads whatever you give it and turns it into a clean, consistent card.

    AI recipe parsing

No templates and no manual entry. Title, ingredients, steps, cook time, difficulty, and course all come out of the source automatically.

    AI food imagery

Give any recipe a styled image in one of seven looks. Six are illustrations, from Whimsical through Vintage and Rustic, and Photorealistic is the one that goes for an actual photo. Set your favourite as the collection default.

    AI image regeneration

Not happy with the photo? Regenerate it, switch styles, or upload your own image instead.

Organization you don't have to do

Tags, difficulty, and source are pulled out on import, so the filters have something to work with from day one. Add your own orange rating after you cook it and filter to the ones that earned four or more.

How the AI recipe import works

    1. 1

      Give it any recipe source

URL, Pinterest pin, raw text, or a photo. The AI handles every format.

    2. 2

      AI structures the recipe

Title, ingredients with amounts, numbered instructions, cook time, servings, difficulty, and course, all extracted for you.

    3. 3

Add an image, if you want one

Pick one of the seven styles and the AI makes an image for the card, or upload a photo you took, which costs no extra credits.

    4. 4

      Search, cook, repeat

Search hits titles, tags, sources, and ingredient lists. Rate what you cook, filter by rating, and export the whole collection as one book whenever you want to send it to someone.

Questions about Culinary Card's AI features

What makes Culinary Card an AI recipe app?

AI does the work at every step: reading a recipe source and turning it into structured data, generating styled food imagery, and pulling out tags and metadata so you don't have to type them. Take that out and there is no app left.

How does AI recipe import work?

Paste a URL, text, or upload an image. Culinary Card's AI reads the content and returns a fully structured recipe: title, ingredients, numbered instructions, cook time, difficulty, and course. Nothing to type in by hand.

Can I generate AI images for my recipes?

Yes, when you add or edit a recipe. Worth knowing what you are choosing between: Whimsical, Artistic, Minimalist, Vintage, Modern and Rustic all produce illustrations, and Photorealistic is the only one aiming at a photograph. Whichever you pick is stored with the card, and you can set a collection default so new recipes match.

Is the AI reliable for recipes?

For most standard recipe formats (web articles, text, printed cards) accuracy is very high. Unusual formats and badly faded handwriting are where it slips, so give those a quick review. Every section stays editable in place after import, and each heading has its own pencil.

How much does AI image generation cost?

What a recipe costs depends mostly on where it came from. A text import is 1 credit; a URL, Pinterest, or photo import is 2. Adding a high-quality AI image takes any recipe to 3, which is the ceiling. Bringing your own photo instead costs nothing extra, so an imported recipe with your photo on it still costs 2. Credits are $0.10 each, or 30 a month for $3.
