Yes. Culinary Card can generate a styled image for any recipe. Two of the three styles are illustrations, Studio Ghibli-ish Whimsical and mid-century Vintage, and Photorealistic is the one that aims at an actual photograph. Pick a style, and the image is stored with the card.

Yes, and you can mix the two freely. Upload a photo from a phone or a camera and it becomes the card image, with no extra credits charged. You can also have the AI redraw your photo in one of the three styles, which costs the same as any AI image. Most collections end up part photographed and part generated, since you will have taken pictures of some dishes and never got round to others.
What a recipe costs depends on where it came from. A text import is 1 credit; a URL, Pinterest, or photo import is 2.
